Mr. Luqman El-Kasabany serves as the Managing Director of Shaykhi Academy and is a native Arabic speaker from Egypt. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies (English Language) from the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
He is a Hafiz of the Holy Qur’an and holds multiple Qur’an Ijazat across various Qira’at, which qualify him to recite and teach the Qur’an professionally. He has extensive experience teaching Tajweed and Arabic reading to non-native speakers of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Mr. El-Kasabany has studied a wide range of Islamic sciences at Al-Azhar University, including Tajweed, Arabic language, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Seerah, Tafseer, and Hadith. He currently delivers instruction in these subjects through online classes.
In addition, he is the author of Al-Menhaj, the official curriculum of Shaykhi Academy, and holds the roles of Supervisor and Education Manager at the academy.
Alongside his academic responsibilities, he is actively engaged in personal development and professional training. His studies include child development, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and digital marketing.
At the age of 26, Masha’Allah, his youthful energy enables him to connect effectively with younger learners and deliver engaging and impactful instruction.
